Congregational Church Fine Arts Committee
HISTORY
The Fine Arts Committee was
established by a vote of the congregation in May, 1976
PURPOSE
To make known the
areas where the Arts can make visual contribution in enhancing the church
and/or worship.
Provide exposure to the congregation to the Visual
Arts in many media and styles of execution.
Purchase, from funds
designated for such purposes, and place said pieces of Art.
FUNCTIONS
All matters and
questions of a fine arts and design nature relating to the church
structure of which shall be erected or placed on church property shall
first be referred to the Fine Arts Committee who will then report its
findings and decisions to the Board of Trustees.
